Terms of Sale

General Information

These Terms of Sale govern the ordering, payment, delivery, and return of products purchased through the online store of Varžak M (www.varzakmed.hr). By using our website and purchasing products, you agree to these Terms of Sale.

The Buyer is any natural or legal person who orders at least one product through the online store, completes the electronic order form, and makes payment using one of the available methods. Purchases on behalf of minors or legally incapacitated persons may only be made by their legal representatives.

The Seller reserves the right to change these Terms of Sale and prices without prior notice. Orders placed before such changes will be fulfilled under the conditions valid at the time of order confirmation.

Registration and User Account

Purchases may be made as a registered user or as a guest. Registration creates a user account that allows easier ordering and order tracking. The Buyer is responsible for providing accurate data and for keeping login credentials secure.

Ordering Process

Products are ordered electronically: by selecting the desired item, placing it in the cart, entering billing and delivery details, and selecting a payment method. The order is confirmed once the Buyer clicks the confirmation button. A confirmation e-mail will be sent. If a product is not available, we will contact the Buyer to agree on replacement, cancellation, or refund.

Prices, Currency, and VAT

All prices are retail, expressed in euros (EUR) and include VAT. Each product price is determined individually and valid at the time of order. While we strive for accuracy, typographical or input errors may occur.

  • Credit and debit cards – Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, JCB. All card payments are processed via secure payment processors compliant with PCI DSS standards. We do not store card details.

Note: Cash on delivery is not available.

Delivery

Delivery is available within Croatia and the European Union via GLS and Croatian Post (HP). Orders are shipped after payment confirmation. If the product is in stock, the dispatch time is up to 7 working days. The total delivery time depends on the destination and courier service.

Products are packed securely to prevent damage in transit. Upon delivery, the Buyer must check the package condition and immediately report any visible damage to the courier or refuse acceptance.

Product Quality and Food Safety

All products are food items (honey and bee products) and subject to the applicable food safety and hygiene regulations of Croatia and the European Union. Products are properly labeled, safe for consumption, and packaged in compliance with legal standards. Storage and use must follow the instructions on the product label (expiry date, storage conditions, etc.).

Returns and Right of Withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from receipt of goods without giving any reason. The Buyer bears the direct cost of returning the goods. Returns are only accepted for unused and undamaged products in their original packaging.

Exceptions: due to the nature of the goods, returns are not possible for opened food products (honey, food packages), unless the product is faulty, damaged, or does not match the order. In such cases, please contact us immediately.

Withdrawal can be initiated through our online form: Withdrawal Form. After receiving the returned goods or proof of shipment, we will refund the payment using the same payment method (unless otherwise agreed) within 14 days at the latest.

Complaints and Defects

If a delivered product is faulty, damaged, or does not match the description, please contact us immediately with your order number and photos. Faulty food products will be replaced or refunded in accordance with applicable law.

Customer Complaints

In accordance with consumer protection laws, complaints may be submitted via e-mail: info@varzakmed.hr. We will respond to all complaints within 15 days of receipt.

Liability and Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including delivery interruptions, service provider failures, or technical difficulties. Seller’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Data is used solely for processing orders, deliveries, and support, and – with consent – for newsletters and marketing activities.

Online Dispute Resolution

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 524/2013, disputes related to online purchases may be submitted via the European Commission’s ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

Applicable Law

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. In case of discrepancies between translations, the Croatian version shall prevail.
